If desired, additional sessions may be purchased as an option, at a specially discounted rate.

The Benefits to your Employees will include:

Additional personal training sessions (beyond the included six sessions) may be purchased at the specially discounted Corporate Wellness Program price of $49 per session.

The Need for Wellness:

We live in a society that is not only overweight, but also obsessed with appearance. As a society, we tend to be reactive rather than proactive to our problems, and this has resulted in a proliferation of artificial solutions to our fitness and health needs. The attitude of wanting “instant fitness” has made us susceptible to countless fraudulent health scams such as: fad diets, bogus exercise equipment and fitness routines, and so called “magic pills” that are supposed to immediately erase years of “the McDonald’s diet” and physical inactivity. Even medical doctors have fallen prey to this thinking, and are focused on treating symptoms instead of the underlying health problems.

Why do people suffer from high blood pressure, high cholesterol, cardiovascular disease, Type II diabetes, and obesity? Heredity does play a role, in some individuals more so than in others, but by far the commonest cause for these conditions is an unhealthy lifestyle characterized by poor diet and exercise habits. In fact, most complaints of back, knee, hip, and elbow pain result from defects in the musculoskeletal system that is symptomatic of this unhealthy lifestyle. Doctors tend to treat these symptoms with medications that are expensive, and that have many undesirable side effects. By correcting the unhealthy lifestyle, or better yet, in proactively preventing a healthy person from developing symptoms of an unhealthy lifestyle, we can preserve health and attain a preferred outcome that is more cost effective for the individual and for the company. The Corporate Wellness Program will provide your staff with the tools necessary to become and remain healthy productive employees.

Is the Corporate Wellness Program cost effective?

It has been estimated that up to 50% of a company’s profits may be used to support escalating health care costs, which are projected to increase by over 200% within the next 7 years. According to a January 2003 report released by the Institute of Medicine, private and government organizations will have the most significant impact on controlling healthcare costs by focusing on the employees’ level of health education through self-management and health literacy. Thus, corporate decision makers need to find the best employee wellness investment with the broadest impact.
